Top of the Rock Observation Deck

The Top of the Rock Observation Deck, situated in the GE building at the famous Rockefeller Centre in New York, arguably offers the best views of the city from the top.

It comprises the 10^th tallest building in New York City, and 33^rd in the United States.  This famous observation deck, consisting of three floors of indoor and outdoor decks, was built to resemble that of an ocean liner and offers some magnificent, unobstructed 360º views of New York that you will never forget.  Furthermore, there are some coin-operated binoculars available at the top and an audio tour of your visit with the official Top of the Rock podcast to accompany you.  Finally, the Rockefeller Centre also houses the NBC studios, and offers some great shopping and dining opportunities so you can really make a full day of it! Where:  30, Rockefeller Plaza, Manhattan, New York. When: Open from 8am to midnight, 7 days a week. Directions:  47-50 Streets, Rockefeller Centre MTA subway station located on concourse level of the Rockefeller Centre. The B,D,F and M trains can also be accessed from there. Price:  25 dollars with concessions. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
